Supporting Utility-Scale Wind Energy Development

The Novotroitsk Wind Farm formed part of Ukraine’s growing investment in renewable energy infrastructure. We were responsible for the heavy lifting required to install Vestas wind turbines rated at 4.2 MW with a hub height of 105 metres, delivering the precision and reliability essential for utility-scale wind farm construction.

Using a dedicated crawler crane fleet, the project supported the safe and efficient erection of turbine components while maintaining the installation schedule across the site.

Coordinated Heavy Lifting for Wind Turbine Installation

Coordinated Heavy Lifting for Wind Turbine Installation

Two 600-tonne Liebherr LR1600 crawler cranes were deployed to execute the installation of the Vestas wind turbines. Their lifting capacity and reach enabled the safe handling of large tower sections and major turbine components at heights exceeding 100 metres. Careful lift planning, equipment coordination and disciplined site execution ensured reliable installation performance throughout the project, contributing to the successful delivery of the wind farm.

Successfully deployed a dual 600-tonne crawler crane fleet to install Vestas 4.2 MW wind turbines, supporting the delivery of a major renewable energy project in Ukraine.
