Precision Installation Within Existing Infrastructure

The installation of the second bridge section formed a key stage in the reconstruction of the Beresteiskyi Interchange. Unlike conventional bridge erection, the operation was performed within an existing bridge structure, requiring heavy transport equipment to operate between permanent supports while maintaining precise control of the bridge span throughout the installation.

We delivered the heavy lifting and transport solution required to complete the installation safely and efficiently.

Integrated Jacking and Modular Transport

Portal beams and step jacking systems were installed beneath the bridge section before the structure was lifted approximately one metre to create the required transport clearance. The span was then supported by four JS500 computerized jacking systems together with two 16-line SPMT configurations, allowing the transporters to move between the existing bridge piers while maintaining continuous load control. The coordinated lifting and transport methodology enabled the 363-tonne bridge section to be accurately positioned for final installation.
