Installation of Vestas 3.45 MW wind turbines using two 600-tonne crawler cranes to support the construction of the Overyanivka Wind Farm in southern Ukraine.
The Overyanivka Wind Farm contributed to the continued growth of renewable energy generation in southern Ukraine through the installation of Vestas 3.45 MW wind turbines. We provided the heavy lifting expertise required for the safe and efficient erection of the turbine structures, ensuring precise handling of large components throughout the installation process.
The project formed part of the company’s growing portfolio of utility-scale wind energy developments delivered for leading turbine manufacturers.
Two 600-tonne Liebherr LR1600 crawler cranes were mobilised to perform the installation of the Vestas wind turbines. The crane configuration provided the lifting capacity and operational flexibility required to assemble tower sections and install major turbine components safely and efficiently. Through careful lift planning, coordinated site logistics and disciplined execution, the project was completed to the standards expected for utility-scale renewable energy construction.
